Where Hicks Trans started:
A long time ago back in 2013, I started with one lease truck at Prime Inc. After 3 years of leasing that truck, I decided to put money down and lease purchase my first semi, a black 2014 Kenworth T680, in which I named Black Widow. Once I ran that truck under Primes authority, I decided to break off and get my own DOT numbers and authority. After 10 long and troublesome years and several people who invested in my goal, I was able to turn 1 truck into 3 then into 5 and now up to over 15 trucks with over 20 drivers working for the company as of late 2023.

One weekend while I was Uber and Lyfting around Dallas just trying to make some side money, getting passed by all the truck drivers, I felt something deep down in my soul. From that point on I knew I wanted to pursue my dream of becoming a truck driver. Once I made it home that evening, I started my research into truck driving school since I could not afford to go to a school. After a couple of hours of looking into different companies. Once I found Prime Inc, I just knew that is where I want to go to school and learn to drive a truck and end up becoming a fourth-generation driver for my family.
After 3 years of OTR driving I joined the Hicks Trans family as an OTR driver, after a year and a half I was offered to come off the road and work in the office, which is something that I have always wanted to do.
